Our large lobby is a great space for you to hang out with all of your new friends.
Location
The traditional residence halls along Gray Drive are located closest to West Market Street on the north side of campus, with easy access to both the walking trails and the athletic fields.
The individual buildings along Gray Drive are identified with two names, one refers to the left side and the other, the right side of one combined building. The Phillips side of the building is home to UNCG’s four College Panhellenic Council (CPC) sororities.
Building Features
Upon entering Phillips/Hawkins on the third floor, students are greeted with an enormous game room/common area with a central staircase that leads down to the full kitchen. Also on the second floor, students gain access to ample indoor and outdoor gathering areas. Phillips Residence Hall, half of Phillips-Hawkins, is home to all class levels and freshmen who are involved in the Mosaic Living-Learning Community.
Phillips/Hawkins has kitchenettes (with refrigerators and microwaves) on all of the five floors on both sides of the residence hall. Community rooms are located throughout the building for studying or socializing and laundry facilities are on the third floor.
